The apartment is close to everything and very convenient to the key locations: the Stuttgart International Airport is a 20-minute drive or a convenient 30-minute direct bus ride from the front door. The Esslingen main train station is a five-minute walk down the “Train Station Street” pedestrian-only street and has both the regional express and local train lines into Stuttgart. The regional trains can get you to the Bad Cannstatt Train Station and Cannstatter Wasen within 10 minutes, where you can enjoy the spring and fall Oktoberfest-themed festivals that have beer tents, carnival rides, and food booths. You can reach the Stuttgart Main Train Station and the nearby Schlossplatz (Castle Square, site of the Summer Fest, fall wine village, and winter Christmas Market) in as little as 15 minutes. Commutes to Kelley Barracks via car average 20-25 minutes and 30-45 minutes to Patch Barracks. Both are also reachable using a bus/train combination.
